LA UNION which translates to "The Union", was formed in 1850 by merging towns from the neighboring Provinces of Ilocos Sur, Pangasinan, and Benguet. For those people who seems to lack of #VITAMINSEA, one of the most popular summer destination is La Union. Even though we are in the middle of pandemic, bus trips are still allowed daily. One thing why La Union is famous, its because it is accessible and you can have the trips and activities that you want with the cheapest cost.                                    Philippines is popular for tropical beaches, and La union is one of the pride of the Philippines when it comes to summer escapades. San Juan is the surfing paradise because its the nearest among other places. It will only take you 4 hours to travel from Manila to La Union, and in that span of time, you can already do surfing. 



                                   The waves here are not just for professionals, it also suits first timers. For the beginners, if you're frightened, or not confident, there are spots in the sea wherein you can also enjoy and won't worry about your safety. For just 300 pesos per hour, you can already study on how to go with the flow with the waves and learn the basics of surfing.

                                   Now let's take it the next level. In San Gabriel, there is a destination that is currently making way. The Tangadan Falls. Tangadan Falls is becoming the most visited falls in northern Philippines. There are two ways on how to visit the magnificent Tangadan falls. First, the 2 hour river trek along the Baroro River and the second one is, rent a jeep going to the jump of point of the falls. I assure you, you won't be bored from travelling because of the scenic and overlooking view of the province.
 


                                   The 20 to 30 minutes trekking is worth it because of the beautiful falls. Surely, tourist will enjoy the activities including bamboo rafting for the family and friends bonding but ofcourse, is equipped with safety gears. For the thrill seekers, surely you will love the cliff diving. The Tangadan Falls came from the word "TANGAD" which means 'to look up'. Maybe because you will surely look up and thank God for this amazing destination. 





                                   Lastly, the "Pebble Capital of the North", which is Luna, La Union. Here is where the famous Bahay na Bato is located that is owned by the married couple that are doctor in profession which is Dr. Edison and Dra. Purita Noble. You'll be really amaze by the beautiful Gallery of wood carvings and stone arts.
